Business Visas

Business visa allows businessmen to conduct business and also work in Qatar on a temporary basis. There are two types of business visas:

  1. 1. 72-hour Business Visa – This is issued on arrival and is extendible for a further 72 hours. Best suited to visit the country on short-term business trips. You need to ensure proper documents are carried to prove the purpose of their trip.
  2. 2. Business Visa – This visa is best suited for expatriate workers and people who wish to conduct short-term contractual work in Qatar. This type of visa is valid for a maximum of three months. This visa is not available on arrival and needs to be arranged in advance by an approved company or agency operating in Qatar.
 
Investor Visa
Expatriates who invest in select business ventures in Qatar are eligible to residency without an employer ship. Interested investors must obtain property ownership documents, a certificate of good behavior, and have a medical check-up to qualify. Seven Star cab help you complete the Investor Visa procedure
Family Visit Visa
If you are working in Qatar and wish to bring members of your family to Qatar on a short-term basis (up to six months), we can help you apply for a Family Visit Visa. The visa is valid for one month and the same can be extended for up to six months. This extension is allowed for immediate family members (wife, sons, daughters) only. An extension of three months is allowed for extended family and other relatives. The family members need to undergo a medical check to apply for a family visa.
Family Residence Visa
If you are working in Qatar and your monthly salary is QR10,000 or more a month and you have completed six months of employment with the company, you are eligible to apply for a Family Residence Visa.

This type of family visa comes under your sponsorship as an employee of a company.
Newborn Visa
You can also enter Qatar as a visitor or a tourist and stay in Qatar for a limited period. Seven stars can help you obtain a visit visa
Real Estate Visa
Real Estate can apply for a residence visa. Seven Star can help you procure it through the General Directorate of Borders Passports and Expatriates Affairs at the MoI. Required documentation includes a valid passport, a letter from a relevant real estate agency outlining the property investment, a good conduct certificate and a medical check-up.
Tourist Visa:

Requirements for procuring a visit visa
  • Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any.
  • Scanned color copy of first and last page of your Passport.
  • Scanned recent color copy of your passport size photograph with white background;

It will take 5 to 6 working days to procure the visit visa.

Residency Visa:

Obtaining Qatar Residency Visa – Except for Qatar and GCC national citizens, other nationalities must obtain a Qatar residence visa to legally Live / Work in Qatar and other emirates.

For many employed ex-pats, the company that employs them will sponsor them for a Qatar residence visa OR you can set up your own company and get the residency visa based on being the owner of your company.

A residence visa is also mandatory to obtain a Driving License, Register a Car, Apply for a PO Box, Buy a property, open a bank account in Qatar and so on.

Steps Involved in Getting your Qatar Residency Visa:

  • Applying for the Employment Entry Permit.

– This can be done in two ways.

  • Applying for the Permit while the Applicant is in Qatar
  • Applying for the Permit while the Applicant is out of Qatar
  • Once the Entry Permit is approved and issued, The Applicant is required to do the Medical Test and apply for his Qatar ID
  • Once the Applicant clears his Medical Test etc, the original documents along with the Original Passport are to be submitted to the Immigration Department, where they will verify the documents and stamp the residency visa in the passport.

The Residency visa stamped in the passport can be of 2 years or 3 years depending on the type of Visa and jurisdiction of the company
